Abdul Wahab is the immediate past Chief Executive Officer of the Minority Shareholder Watchdog Group (MSWG) of Malaysia, a Group Adviser of the International firm of BDO Binder (Chartered Accountants) and an Adviser of Pacific Alliance Capital Sdn Bhd of Malaysia (Structured Financial Advisers). He has also been a Director for a number of Malaysian public companies. Previously he was a senior Partner of a leading Malaysian public accounting practice and the Chief Executive Officer of a Malaysian privatisation consultancy firm. A student of the prestigious Royal Military College of Malaysia and a scholar of the internationally-acclaimed Colombo Plan Scholarship, he graduated with an Australian Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) degree and qualified as an Australian Chartered Accountant. He is a member of the two Malaysian Accountancy Institutes. Over the last thirty-eight years, he obtained extensive knowledge, skills and experience in the full range of public accounting.
