DATO' ABDUL WAHAB BIN JAAFAR SIDEK
Dato' Abdul Wahab is the immediate past Chief Executive Officer of the Minority
Shareholder Watchdog Group (WSWG) of Malaysia , a Senior Adviser of the joint
International firms of Folks DFK & Co/Azman,Wong, Salleh & Co/Salleh Leong, Azlan
& co (Chartered Accountants) and an Adviser of Paciffic Alliance Capital Sdn Bhd of
Malaysia (Structured Financial Advisers). He has also been a Director for a number oh
Malaysian public companies. Previously, he was a senior Partner of leading Malaysian
public accaounting practice and the chief Executive officer of a Malasyian privatisation
consultancy firm. A student of the prestigious Royal Mailitary College of Malaysia (RMC)
and a scholar of the internationally - acclaimed Colombo Plan Scholarship, he graduated
with an Australian Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) degree and qualified as an Australian
chartered Accountant . He is a member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA)
and the Malaysian Institute of Certified Public Accountants (MICPA). Over the last forty-
one years, he obtained extensive knowledge, skill and exprience in the full range of public
accounting services covering audit, accountancy , taxation, secreterial, consultancy and
restructuring assigments covering a wide and varied range of clients including the leading
Malasyian entities. Dato' Wahab also succeeded in serving for various professional and
other non-profit organisations, locally and internationally. in recognition of his services as well as contribution to the
Perak State and Malaysia, he has been conferred a Dato' ship by His Royal Highness The Sultan of Perak.
